Must be at least 18 on election day (November 13, 2024);
Must be a Canadian citizen;
Must reside in Saskatchewan on or before May 13, 2024 continuously to election day; and
At least one of the following:
Reside within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Davidson on or before August 13, 2024 continuously to election day, OR
Have owned property (title in your name) within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Davidson on or before August 13, 2024 continuously to election day.

*If an ineligible voter signs the affidavit and votes, the whole election is at risk of being overturned by an appeal and the ineligible voter is at risk of being charged criminally with fines of up to $1,000.
Voter Identification WILL BE REQUIRED – Just like provincial or federal elections, you must provide ID to vote in municipal elections as per legislation. Photo ID (driver’s license) is your best option to take to the polls. If that is not available, then bring along two other pieces of information, as long as both contain your name and at least one contains your physical address.
